Geoff Dowling

FCCA ACMA

Managing Director

Geoff qualified in 1992 and has worked for medium to large multi-national companies. Having worked in Dublin, Bermuda and London, he founded Windsor Accountancy in 2002 and has overseen the rapid growth to date. Geoff is responsible for new business development, assisting start-up and established businesses on a day-to-day basis and advising clients on tax saving strategies.

Heather Mills

BSc (Hons) FCCA

Senior Client Manager

Heather is a graduate in Molecular Biology and gained her FCCA designation in 2013. Heather joined WA in early 2016 and comes to us with over 11 years experience with a medium size local firm where she was an Audit and Accounts Manager. Heather is responsible for client statutory accounting and file reviews.

Lauren Twohey

MAAT ACCA

Client Services Manager

Lauren joined Windsor Accountancy in 2016 after studying A-Level Mathematics at Strodes College. Lauren is now qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and Accounting Technician (AAT). Lauren manages the Client Services Accounts team, including the training and development of junior team members. She is also responsible for the delivery of all accounting-related services to clients.

Lauren Russell

Client Manager

Lauren joined Windsor Accountancy in 2017 on completion of her A-Levels at Waingels College. Lauren is a qualified Accounting Technician (AAT) and is currently in the early stages of completing her ACCA qualification. Lauren is responsible for managing a wide-ranging portfolio of clients including the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT returns and also training junior members of the team.

Niamh Dowling

Tax Manager

Niamh graduated with first class honours in Business & Marketing from the University of Southampton. She joined Windsor Accountancy in early 2018 and has progressed to tax manager after qualifying as a Tax Technician (ATT). Niamh is responsible for personal tax compliance, providing taxation advice and managing taxation affairs for a wide range of clients including high-net worth individuals, non-UK residents, landlords, partnerships, self-employed individuals and directors of limited companies.

Jasmine Clark

Accounts Assistant

Jasmine graduated with first class honours in Accounting & Finance from the University of Cardiff and is currently in the process completing her ACCA qualification. Jasmine’s key responsibilities include client bookkeeping, VAT returns, accounts preparation, internal reporting and assisting the team on various accounting matters and projects.

Jenny Jones

Company Secretarial Assistant

Jenny joined Windsor Accountancy in 2020 following a successful career as an Executive Assistant to senior board members at a multinational corporation. Jenny has gained extensive administrative experience across a wide range of sectors working with various stakeholders. Jenny is responsible for all company secretarial services and Companies House administration, working closely with our limited company clients.

Jenny Light

Office Manager

Jenny recently joined Windsor Accountancy at the start of 2022 with over ten years of office administration experience. Jenny has a wide range of valuable experience across multiple industries. Jenny is responsible for new client on-boarding and is the first point of contact for all new clients at WA. In addition, Jenny ensures the office runs smoothly and provides administrative support to the team.

Christie Hughes

Practice & Project Manager

Christie has been part of the team at Windsor Accountancy for many years and was responsible for setting up internal practice management and workflow systems. She is currently responsible for data management, anti-money laundering (AML) and client-facing projects. Offering support at director level, Christie has over twenty years’ experience in the legal and accountancy sector.

Julia Gambold

Tax Consultant

Julia qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser in 1991. In 2002 she founded River Thames Accountancy Ltd and now provides tax consultancy services and support to Geoff and the rest of the team at Windsor Accountancy. As well as enjoying dealing with all the different aspects of a client’s business affairs, she is the Branch Treasurer and a Committee Member of the Thames Valley Branch of the Chartered Institute of taxation. www.riverthamesaccountancy.co.uk

Mark Blackmore

Financial Advisor - More Wealth Planning

After gaining a degree in Mathematics, Mark worked in the City for two years whilst gaining his Financial Adviser qualifications. After qualifying in 1997, he spent the next seven years growing a prestigious practice until he relocated from London to Buckinghamshire. Mark has been providing specialist investment and pension advice to Windsor Accountancy clients since 2009.

Rachel Brabbins

Financial Advisor - More Wealth Planning

Rachel started her career as a Financial Adviser at Lloyds TSB in 2004 where she quickly acquired her Financial Planning Certificate and gained client facing experience. Rachel has recently completed her Diploma in Financial Planning and now works within the More Wealth Planning team providing technical, paraplanning and PA support to Mark Blackmore and assisting Windsor Accountancy clients.
